Look Good Feel Better Program

Look Good…Feel Better is a 2-hour, hands-on workshop designed to help women currently undergoing cancer treatment look and feel better during treatment. At each class, volunteer cosmetologists provide beauty techniques and participants receive a free makeover including tips on skin care, nail care, and make-up. Classes also include tips on wigs, hats, and turbans. Classes meet the 2nd Monday of even months from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Call the American Cancer Society to register.

Reach to Recovery

Reach to Recovery provides an informational and support system for those who might be facing breast cancer, as well as those currently undergoing treatment and recovery. Through personal experience and resources from the American Cancer Society, trained volunteers offer valuable insight and support through in person visit(s) or phone calls. Ask your doctor to request a Reach to Recovery visit for you or call the American Cancer Society at 800-ACS-2345 to request a visit.

National Cancer Information Center

At the National Cancer Information Center, trained cancer information specialists are available to answer cancer-related questions from patients, their families, and the public. Callers can request cancer resources and information be sent to them. The information specialists will also give you information on local and national American Cancer Society programs and other cancer-related resources.
