WAIVER: By signing this release for myself (or as parent/guardian for a minor), I agree to the following:

1. I will hold harmless or indemnify Whidbey General Hospital Foundation and all its sponsors, their respective officers, agents, members, employees and/or any and all counties, states, cities, and towns through which this event may pass, and the Dept. of Transportation and State Patrol, and all other parties connected with this bicycle event from any injury, loss or damage caused by negligence of any party.

2. I understand the route chosen may be challenging and of high risk, including risk of injury or death. I am a sufficiently competent cyclist and can handle any road conditions which may occur.

3. I understand that helmets are mandatory, that all roads will be open to normal traffic, and that I am responsible for obeying all traffic laws.

4. I understand that this release form is also binding to my heirs and representatives.

5. If I am signing on behalf of a minor, I accept full responsibility for all medical expenses incurred as a result of the minor’s participation and agree to hold harmless and indemnify the entities named above for all claims brought on behalf of the minor. I understand that minors must ride with an adult.

6. It is my sole responsibility to familiarize myself with the information in the registration materials and to follow procedures and rules set for these rides.
