Whidbey General Voted Best Place to Work on Whidbey Island in 2013

Whidbey General Hospital has been voted the Best Place to Work in the 2013 Best of Whidbey competition. Dr. Doug Langrock of Whidbey Community Physicians was voted Best Doctor.

The Whidbey News-Times, which sponsors the annual reader’s choice contest, encourages voters to pick their favorites in dozens of categories such as best restaurant, best chiropractor, best veterinarian and best accountant.

Lee Ann Mozes of the Whidbey News Group presented the awards to a sold-out crowd at the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Thursday, July 18. There was heavy voter participation online and by mail, with readers casting more votes in 2013 than in any year since the competition began, Mozes told luncheon attendees.
