Whidbey General Classes & Events
Whidbey General promotes safety, health and vitality in our community.
Our classes address topics such as quitting tobacco, preventing diabetes, planning for future medical care and achieving wellness through healthy eating and exercise.
We also sponsor community events such as bike helmet fittings and car seat safety checks.
Many of our classes and activities are offered at no cost.
Learn about classes, activities and related resources by using the links at left.
Whidbey General clinicians attend events such as the Relay for Life, Island County Fair, Heart of a Woman Red Dress Ball, Jingle Bell Run and Uniquely Whidbey Trade Fair to provide:
- Blood pressure screenings
- Information and advice on injury and disease prevention in both adults and children
- Helpful items such as bicycle helmets, first aid kits or hand gel
At these events you will learn more about your public district hospital and about the vital role you play in shaping the services we provide.
I encourage you to visit these pages frequently for updates. If you like what you see, consider sharing this information with friends and family.
