Starla K. Smit PA-C

Starla Smit, PA-C, joined our medical staff in 2012. As a certified physician assistant, she practices internal medicine at North Island Medical Center in conjunction with Dr. Dan Fisher. Internal medicine focuses on the prevention and management of the chronic and complicated diseases of adults. Her training included rotations in family practice, emergency medicine, OB-GYN, behavioral health, surgery and pediatrics. PA Smit believes that positive treatment outcomes are often the result of educating patients to engage fully in their own care.
